The parent track occurs during Orientation as a separate concurrent program designed specifically for parents of new students. This program consists of special presentations designed to help family members assist with their student's transition to college through becoming familiar with Northern Kentucky University and its many resources. Attendance for parents is optional but highly encouraged.
During the program, parents and family will have opportunities to meet with students, faculty, and staff to discuss topics including:
Academics
Campus safety
Financial aid
Student life
Student support services
Housing and roommates
